The hotel's location was mind-blowing, with the train station just a 5-minute walk away and the stunning Himeji Castle within a 30-minute walk. The breakfast options were super, with a mouthwatering variety of both Continental and Japanese cuisine. The clean and functional public bath was jaw-dropping, plus the free amenities like free wi-fi in rooms, 24-hour reception, restaurant, jacuzzi, laundry. The staff went above and beyond, offering helpful guidance throughout our stay.

This hotel is a hidden gem, just a block away from the Himeji railway station. The location is perfect for exploring the city and visiting the famous Himeji Castle. The rooms are single and of decent size, making it suitable for families with kids. The hotel offers basic amenities like AC, a big bed, TV, fridge, and a water heater. What's great is that they also provide yukata and slippers for loungewear or visiting the bath. The recently renovated bath with a sauna on the bottom floor is a pleasant surprise, perfect for some relaxation after a long day. The staff is friendly, helpful, and has decent English skills. The hotel also offers convenient services like coin laundry and a restaurant on the first floor.
Felt like a home away from home, no reason to complain.

This place has serious character and is a bit dated, but super clean. The facilities have everything you need, from a jacuzzi spa that is mind-blowing, to free wi-fi in rooms, a 24-hour reception, and a restaurant with both Japanese and international cuisine for breakfast. The staff is incredibly helpful, and the location is jaw-droppingly close to the train station and all the sights. Plus, there's a flat-screen TV, lift, electric kettle, air conditioning.

I recently stayed at a hotel near the beach with an excellent location. The staff was efficient and helpful, and the room was well-equipped with a desk for work. The hotel had a communal hot bath that was relaxing and clean. the hotel was close to the train station and many shops and restaurants, making it convenient for exploring the area.
One slight disappointment was the limited variety of Western options for breakfast, although the Japanese breakfast was enjoyable.

The Plaza hotel in Himeji provided a comfortable stay with a beautiful view from my room. The clean bathroom had a small bathtub-shower combo, perfect for a refreshing soak. The hotel's location allowed for a nice breeze to flow through the room, creating a pleasant atmosphere.
I must point out that the single-glass windows with slide hatches made the room a bit drafty in the winter. This caused some discomfort as the outside noise also penetrated through, making it necessary to use earplugs.

Great location right across from the train station. Easy access to the city and nearby attractions. Convenient for day trips. The lobby has a beautiful Victorian charm with chandeliers, giving it a unique and cozy atmosphere. The rooms were clean and basic, providing a comfortable place to rest after a long day of exploring.
The rooms were slightly outdated and could use some renovation to match the charm of the lobby. Unfortunately, the wifi did not reach the guest rooms and could only be accessed in the lobby area.
